In advance of the full start list, here are a few of the men to look out for in the Olympic

Stephen	Early Team TSC
Ruaidhri Geraghty Galway Triathlon Club
Donal	Mahon Galway Tri Club
Tom	O Dowd Liquid Motion (www.exposuresports.ie)
Nigel	Forde Nigels Cycles

Stephen Early hasn’t actually won a triathlon, but having swam the english channel last summer, he should be the first out of the water. He’s also got a killer run, so he’ll start as favorite.

The local favorites of Ruaidhri Geraghty and Tom O’Dowd will chase hard on the bike and may take the lead on the bike.

The winner of the first ever Galway Triathlon; Donal Mahon is better known as a DJ on Galway Bay FM is strong across all three disciplines, so it will be interesting to watch.

Nigel Forde of Nigel’s cycles should post the fastest bike split. If he gets a reasonable swim time, he’ll be a contender.
